HAPPY HOUR

s
This is going to be the label for my quilt - a wine bottle and wine glass - paper pieced - what a trying time paper piecing - it just not my thing - so much work - so much fabric wasted - but I like the way it turned out if you twist your head to the side a little - perfect.
Pattern readily avail. on the internet. thanks.

BEAUTIFUL ROSE

This is our beautiful dog Rose - I had to give her a beautiful day as she is one hell of an ugly (but kind) dog. We rescued her from the pound - death row _ her days were numbered.
She has turned out to be so special (special do you mean crazy, all the food is for me special, bark at your friends and neighbours but let sub species - such as salesman and real estate agent in ) then she is your girl. The first time I saw her in the pen - one look and she ran up to me and put her paws on my shoulders and kissed me on the face and it was love. Pure misguided love. Puppy love - hundreds of kilos puppy love - when the other little dogs boss her around she has this look on her face " but I tried my best">

CHRISTMAS STOCKING

e

Everyone loved them, they were special for me and the kids - and something they couldn't buy in shops, made with love.

BUSY BUSY GIRL

Yes that is right I have had a busy day today - trying to paper piece this half sun sort of thing. I did it and it turned out pretty good - but there is a lot of waste of fabric when you paper piece. Three corners out of four turned out perfect.
The weather has just turned rainy and blowy so might be more sewing to come.

CRAZY BOY ON THE LOOSE

Here is a better picture of that crazy boy

CRAZY BOY ON THE LOOSE

It is still cool enough to get your gear off and wash the car with your body like my 12 year neighbour is doing here - helping his mum wash the car. He seems to be having a good time, at least here he is not tormenting his sister

Bird Bag

Just a little tote bag I made with beads on his legs - boy was that hard.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

This is what I got for my birthday - S U R P R I S E - lots and lots of hints and clues and I got just what I wanted - nothing useless (well you know from the husband - but don't go there). Thank you little daughter. She scares because she cares. Had flowers and presents and if only I had made myself a cake I would have been happy.

The sky who came in from the cold

A picture of the last little chicken on a dress up night - I think she is going as a spy or James Bond. She looked really great and had a good time - too bad the hat was a tad too small. And the gun was one that couldn't hurt you.

KITTY

This is a picture (but not my favourite - my favourite is Kitty bidding on e-bay) her she is on my sister Catherine's quilt _ I will see if I can get a better photo of the whole quilt. But as soon as you put a quilt down - there is a cat as quick as possible on it -my sisters all bonded together to make this quilt for our sister Cath

Dog in Jumper

We were all asked to knit jumpers for Africian babies - which I did last year (heaps and heaps of them) this was the last one and I wondered what the dog would look like it. I though he looked good but he thought it was embarrassing for a dog to wear clothes. Sorry mate.

Cat quilt

This is my niece's Jasmin's quilt - made by her aunties Dee and Lana. We had so much fun making the quilt - and we talked and talked about it with her mum and our sister Nancy that poor little Jasmin just said "enough with the cat quilt". So funny. The last picture is of course of the world's cutest dog - well in fact my dog. Terry.

This quilt was made by three sisters for our fourth sister Nancy - other other sister Cath did nothing (well she doesn't sew so maybe will let her off this one time) . It turned out great and she loves it. That is Rainie's cat Cinda on the quilt - work it out dogs and cats love quilts.

My Gadget

My son Gadget, living far far away in deepest darkest Mackay - he is getting on great with HIS life. I still miss him some - I also have to stop cooking some much dam food as he is not here to eat it or to eat the left overs. Well you you gotta live and learn
